DeWalt departs McAfee, replaced by two

Outgoing president of Intel-owned security vendor McAfee, Dave DeWalt, will be replaced by two co-presidents drawn from McAfee's ranks.
DeWalt had reportedly accepted a spot as the CEO of security vendor Palo Alto Networks in June, according to a Venture Beat.
Incoming co-presidents Michael DeCeasare and Todd Gebhart will report to Intel senior vice president and chairman of the McAfee subsidiary, Renee James, said McAfee.
DeWalt, who previously headed up EMC’s document management arm Documentum, will remain on McAfee’s board of directors.
“I’ll be leaving McAfee in great hands,” said DeWalt.
DeWalt joined McAfee in 2007 when it was embroiled in a stock backdating scheme, and more recently led the company through its US$7.7 billion acquisition by Intel.
